Château-d'Oex
Come and discover this beautiful valley of the Pays-d’Enhaut and its traditions, like the "decoupage" (paper cut-outs) and the lace making, typical crafts of this area and chalet builders. You will meet one of the last coppersmiths manufacturing cauldrons, woodcarvers making utensils, all handicrafts connected with the production of cheese.
The tradition of cheese making remains very important in the Pays-d’Enhaut; the famous “Etivaz” is produced only in summer on all the alpine pastors of our Valley.
